Child Image and Protection Policy

Children come first
We place the child’s dignity, privacy and wellbeing at the centre of personalisation. An adult manages the creation of the child’s book. The service does not provide a public gallery for children’s pictures or an open-ended AI chat for children.
Authority and choice
A parent, legal guardian or person with valid guardian authority must provide the child’s information and consent to personalisation. We may take proportionate steps to verify this. A relative, donor, sponsor, teacher or organisation is not automatically entitled to consent on the child’s behalf.
We encourage adults to explain the process in language the child understands and respect the child’s comfort with using their picture. The avatar option allows personalisation without a photograph. An orphaned child’s photo requires the appropriate lawful guardian or authorised care arrangement; charitable support does not replace that authority.
Appropriate pictures
Please upload one clear photo of a fully clothed child in an ordinary setting. Avoid other people, school identifiers, addresses, documents or sensitive background information. We do not accept intimate, exploitative, degrading, sexualised or unlawful images, or requests intended to embarrass or harm a child.
Photos are used as an illustration reference, not to identify people or infer their ethnicity, beliefs, health, personality or eligibility for support.
Limited access and use
A designer reviews the photo and generated character for the order. Other access is limited to authorised people and providers who need it for the agreed personalisation, production, delivery or support purposes.
Ordering consent does not permit use of a child’s image or identifiable personalised pages in advertisements, public galleries, designer portfolios, social media or fundraising material. A proposed public use would need a separate, specific guardian permission process and child-welfare review. Refusal would not affect the order or access to support.
We do not sell children’s personal information or use their images to train our own AI models. Providers acting for us must restrict processing to the agreed purposes. Ordering consent does not grant them permission for model training or unrelated reuse.
Review and correction
AI-assisted illustrations can contain mistakes. We provide the available preview for adult review and a way to report an unsuitable result. Please check the name and likeness before proceeding. We may block or correct inappropriate outputs. Approval does not waive rights concerning a defect or unsafe content.
Retention and reporting concerns
The Privacy Policy explains when working photos and book files are retained and deleted. You receive your own digital copy. A guardian can request information, correction, withdrawal or deletion at info@qyamalhuda.com.sa, subject to lawful verification and recordkeeping duties.
Use the same email if you believe a photo was submitted without authority, an image has been misused or a preview is inappropriate. Give the order reference if known and describe the concern without unnecessarily resending a child’s photo. We will assess the concern, restrict processing where appropriate, and take corrective action. We make reports and notifications required by law. If a child faces immediate danger, contact the relevant emergency or child-protection authority directly.
