About Us
Protector of the Light brings Quranic values into an adventure where your child becomes the hero.
Known in Arabic as Saden Al Siraj, the programme combines imaginative storytelling with personalised illustrations. Your child travels to extraordinary planets, meets memorable characters, and helps restore the values that bring light to their world.
An adventure with meaning
Each story explores a value children can recognise and practise in everyday life: thinking well of others, forgiveness, excellence, honesty, or the warmth of family ties. Through the choices their character makes, children discover how these values can change the world around them.
With Tayf beside them, the adventure invites children to look beyond first impressions, find the courage to forgive, and bring care to what they do. Our hope is that the light of these Quranic values stays with them beyond the final page, in their hearts and actions, by Allah’s permission.
Personalised for your child
Parents can upload a child’s photograph to create an illustrated character, or build an avatar without uploading a photo. The child’s name and character appear throughout the selected stories, helping them feel part of the adventure. Writers, artists and designers develop the stories and visual world, with AI-assisted tools supporting character personalisation.
Each book includes a printed edition and a digital copy, so the adventure can be enjoyed on the page and on screen.
The association behind the stories
Protector of the Light is a programme of Qiyam Alhuda Association, a Saudi nonprofit registered under number 889 with the National Center for Non-Profit Sector. Established in 2017, the association works to strengthen Quranic values in society, with a particular focus on children and young people.
The programme forms part of the association’s commitment to meaningful, sustainable educational work, with special attention to reaching orphaned children. Every child deserves to see themselves as someone whose choices matter and whose goodness can bring light to others.
The Support Behind the Light
Every great adventure begins with someone who believes in its purpose.
Protector of the Light is proudly sponsored by Ibrahim Alangary and His Descendants Charitable Foundation (مؤسسة إبراهيم العنقري وذريته الخيرية), whose generous support helps bring these meaningful stories to life.
Inspired by the legacy of Sheikh Ibrahim Alangary, the foundation is dedicated to creating lasting positive impact through education, charitable partnerships, and community development.
Through its sponsorship of Protector of the Light, the foundation helps us turn Quranic values into unforgettable adventures, inspiring young hearts to carry the light of goodness, kindness, and faith into their everyday lives.
Together, we believe that a story can spark a value, and a value can illuminate a lifetime.
